The Federal University of Technology, Owerri has released it’s Admission forms for both UTME and DE candidates.
The exercise is scheduled to start from July 15 and lasting till 20th of July, 2019 which will be a screening day for Direct Entry candidates .
FUTO admission screening requirement for the Post UTME is that both UTME and DE candidates applying are expected to have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes in Mathematics, English language, and 3 other subjects relevant to your course of study.
How to Apply
Application for the FUTO Post UTME exercise are available online. Firstly, candidates are required to pay a processing fee of two-thousand naira (N2,000) only. To register, follow the steps outlined below:
STEP 1: Visit the University website: futo.edu.ng
STEP 1: Click on Prospective students and click on the link; “2019/2020 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application”.
STEP 1: Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
STEP 1: Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card and return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number again.
STEP 1: Proceed with the completion of the form and enter your correct WAEC or NECO results.
STEP 1: Confirm your entries and you can go ahead to submit your application.
STEP 1: Print out your acknowledgement slip and wait for further communication from the University.
When Is The Test?
The schedule for the test which was released by the university will be held in the following dates:
- Monday, July 15, 2019 – Friday, July 19, 2019 – Screening for UTME candidates
- Saturday, July 20, 2019 – Screening for DE candidates
The specific time and date for the individual candidate would be communicated in due course to the candidates before the exercise.
1.Candidates should submit their valid phone number and e-mail address for further communications.
2.Candidates are advised to upload their O’level results on JAMB Portal on or before August 31, 2019.
3.Categories of candidates who fail to register within the period WILL NOT be qualified to participate in the forthcoming FUTO Aptitude Test.
4.Candidates who fail to successfully submit their application online would automatically lose his/her chance of being considered for admission.
Direct Entry Candidates should please take note:
-Please ensure that your academic transcript reaches the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri on/before Friday, August 30, 2019.
-Any candidate who fails to submit his/her academic transcript would not be considered for admission.
